About the Committee

Leading Through Crisis and Reform (1999–2002)
The 57th Government of Türkiye, formed in 1999, governed during a period marked by national challenges and transformation. As a coalition worked to manage its aftermath, and navigated economic instability. Delegates will take on the roles of key decision-makers tasked with crisis response, public welfare, and long-term reform during one of the most critical periods in Türkiye’s modern history.
-Agenda Item
The cabinet is convened during a period of coalition governance, fragile economic stability, and growing public demands for reform. In the face of institutional strain and unexpected national emergencies — including recent natural events — delegates are tasked with preserving public trust, maintaining cohesion within the government, and ensuring the state’s capacity to respond effectively to evolving challenges.
